For several months, President Donald Trump has been alluding to a ban on TikTok and WeChat in the U.S. Whilst executive orders to this effect were signed back in August, we`ve been waiting for full clarification as to what exactly that could mean for both apps, their respective users, and platforms like iOS and Android in the U.S. The executive orders from the President banned `transactions` with these apps but didn`t specify any kind of timeline, or what exactly a transaction would be.
